Usage Guide
Desktop Workflow
Cropbox is built around a straightforward editing loop:
- Open a media file.
- Set trim in and trim out on the timeline.
- Adjust the crop rectangle in the preview.
- Apply optional resize, rotation, or flip transforms.
- Export to the target format.
The Info panel exposes editable values for playback position, trim points, timeline viewport, crop geometry, and source metadata.

Notes And Behavior
- Playback speed affects both preview and export for timed media.
- Still images disable playback and trim controls, but remain crop- and export-capable.
- Headless export defaults to the full media duration when
--trim-outis omitted. - PNG sequence export starts frame numbering at
1. - Crop rectangles must stay within the source media dimensions.
